La’Keba Garcia, President
The vision for Yal Deh Project, Inc (formerly Ayiti Amelyore Project, Inc.) began in April 2010 with La’Keba Garcia born and raised in the USA. In June 2012, La’Keba, and Kennedy Lorya aka “Dynamq” a well-known music entertainer from South Sudan, decided to team up to create what is now known as Yal Deh Project. (more…)
Yal Deh Project will begin the first construction project of building a children’s home and community center, in Nakuru, Kenya. Once the targeted funding amount has been reached, we will begin working with local architects to finalize the blue prints for both buildings.
The childrens home will be designed to accommodate up to 50 boys and girls. This is due in part to our strong commitment to maintaining a structured family environment, and to give every child the individual attention they deserve. The overall well-being of each child in our care is our highest priority. Yal Deh Project places a strong emphasis on integrity, and will only employ qualified personnel that have prior experience, and a deep level of compassion for children.
